A Gentle Introduction to the Animal Kingdom for Early Years
Our latest tots show provides a gentle and engaging way to introduce young learners to animals – combining imagination with education in a format that is both safe and inspiring.
Led by our experienced presenters, the children are introduced to Barnie, a cheeky and loveable character from our book. With the help of his binoculars, Barnie takes the children on an imaginative journey to explore different places where animals live. The difference is that the animals do not just stay on the page – they appear in real life, right in front of your pupils.
Throughout the session, children have the opportunity to see, touch, and even hold some of the animals featured in the story. Each page is designed to gently reinforce early learning skills such as colours, numbers, movement, and singing, while nurturing curiosity and confidence.
This visit includes a 45-minute interactive show, followed by 15 minutes of safe animal handling. Prices start from £165, making it an affordable and memorable experience that fits perfectly into the early years curriculum while creating lasting memories for both pupils and staff.
Book today and give your pupils an inspiring first step into the world of animals.

Mad4Animals is proud to announce our most exciting, most requested and most unforgettable school experience yet.
The Ultimate Animal Takeover
For Primary Schools
Our Ultimate Animal Takeover turns your school into a live animal learning zone for the day. It blends storytelling, assemblies, and curriculum linked workshops to create a powerful, unforgettable experience for every pupil.
We begin with the preschool show, Barnie’s Binoculars. This gentle, imaginative adventure suits Nursery and Reception perfectly. Children sing, move, and explore colour while meeting animals in a calm, friendly way. It builds confidence from the very start and sparks curiosity through play.
Next comes a full school assembly. This high energy, interactive show brings the whole school together. Pupils learn fun facts, ask questions, and meet a range of animals up close. It is loud, exciting, and packed with learning.
After the assembly, we work class by class. Each year group receives a tailored workshop linked directly to your curriculum. Sessions connect to science, geography, and PSHE. Learning deepens as pupils get older, with content adapted to suit each age group.
Curriculum links include.
Mini beasts and invertebrates
